Seated Massage is performed with the client in a seated position, through light clothing without the use of oils or adapted for unclothed treatments using oils.
The practitioner uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head, neck and upper back and shoulder area. Arm and hand massage can also be added, depending on time and presenting conditions. Particularly favourable for people working in offices or manual handling roles to negate overuse of keyboards and repetitive strain disorders.
Effective for: Headaches, neck and shoulder tension, helps reduce the effects of stress and repetitive strain disorders. Great for mobile contracts, carried out on an ergonomic chair and tailored to 10, 15 or 30 minute treatment times
