Therapeutic Massage

Massage is an ancient healing art which relieves tension and stress, promoting relaxation and general wellbeing. It helps relieve muscular aches and pains, improves muscle tone, increases blood circulation and enhances joint flexibility.

The manipulation of the body's soft tissue using the hands is a gentle, flowing massage technique that uses varying degrees of pressure and stretching movements. It is most commonly used for relaxation and general wellbeing and is carried out with massage oils.

Effective for: improved circulation, aiding digestion, the removal of toxins, invigorating and relaxing muscles and helping to reduce the effects of stress.

Reflexology

Reflexology has been used by many civilizations for thousands of years and has many benefits. A Reflexology treatment involves applying precise movements to the feet or hands based on the principle that there are areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the parts of the body. As this allows all systems of the body to be treated, a reflexology session is truly an holistic treatment that can have far-reaching effects physically, emotionally and also spiritually, and is far more than just ‘toe tickling’!

Effective for: Back pain, Migraine, Infertility, Arthritis, Sleep Disorders, Hormonal Imbalances, Digestive disorders, stress-related conditions.

Indian Head Massage

Performed with the client in a seated position, through light clothing and without the use of oils. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head, neck and upper back and shoulder area.

Effective for: Headaches, neck and shoulder tension and helps reduce the effects of stress.
